On part 1 of this series of 10 posts I wrote about the two main types of GPS Systems employed commercially to supply Location Based Services to organizations and consumers: Navigators and Trackers. I described each one of them and their applications. On Part 2 I am going to start focusing on the GPS TRACKING SYSTEMS and we will leave the GPS Navigators Systems for other articles.
A GPS Tracking Product is built by 3 main components:
-A GPS device or GPS Tracker, which receives the area information then delivers it to some software program.
-A data transmission system, which takes the information supplied by the tracker gps chien, and delivers it for the software program.
-A Software Application, which presents to the users the info recollected through the GPS Tracker in several formats including maps and reports.
This article will present the key aspects of a GPS Tracking Solution, and can start expanding on the first component: GPS Trackers. It will take me this short article and also the next someone to go in detail over GPS devices.
In this section I am going to define what a GPS Device, and exactly how they work; i will introduce the sorts of trackers, what features bring various kinds of trackers and my personal opinion when it comes to each kind.
